“We use videogame youtube influencers to promote our game, and offer rewards to gamers for subscribing and referring their friends — they will be able to spend it in DECIMATED” Stephen Arnold, CEO, Fracture Labs

While DECIMATED is still in pre-alpha development, they have released a teaser trailer and prototype video, and have acquired more than 109,000 sign-ups on the website and followers across social media, making it one of the most anticipated games in 2020/21.

Fracture Labs describes itself as a team of game developers who are creating an open-world survival game, so players can trade digitally scarce virtual items in a post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk world.

The team aims to create a 64km2 map in Unreal Engine 4, where players can choose to play a human citizen or a cyborg cop, and must compete to earn cryptocurrency (DIO) in a ‘massively persistent online world’.

The team consists of experienced game developers that have worked on many successful games in the past.

DIO can be purchased on the www.decimated.net website, and they plan to release a smartphone wallet and rare virtual item marketplace in the near future.
